If I was going to be made into a battery I would at least want to be a rechargeable. Would you want your last memorial to be a pencil? That would definitely put an end to pencil chewing and pencil fights though wouldn't it. What about the other uses of graphite? Wouldn't it be better to be put into the paint of some great sports car? How many people would it take to make a carbon fiber body panel? I wouldn't mind being compressed into a diamond as long as I wasn't put into an ugly setting afterwards, though I hear the process is kind of expensive.

How come we have to embalm at all? My grandmother wanted to be buried in a pine box so she could decompose as quickly as possible. It was quite a task to even find that kind of casket. It all seems like way too much trouble to me.
Carter ate pencil lead last year. Makes me cringe just to imagine
